The Outbound Sales Account Executive is responsible for constructing, coordinating and executing lead generation for individual clients. Utilizing their knowledge of our lead generation database tools the AE will confer with the client to determine their requirements. AE will develop their own lead list and generate outbound calls to obtain new business through our existing client database.

Essential Job Functions:

Makes calls to past customers that are generated through Company catalogs, space ads, referrals, etc. Incoming caller have either ordered before- or have some knowledge or interest in the Company’s offerings.

Make outbound calls to past and existing customers as needed to generate and promote value add and related products.

Uses consultative sales techniques to explore client needs and offer suggestions for enhancing client marketing efforts.

Utilizes effective sales techniques to handle objections and effectively close the sale.

Works proficiently with infoUSA's “Sales Order Entry system to explore industry/geographic information on behalf of customers – and accurately enter sales order information.

Maintains accurate and complete customer and prospective customer files in SalesForce.

Supportive Job Functions:

Handles customer questions and complaints in a timely, professional manner – by documenting all changes or cancellations and forwarding to both Sales Management and Sales Administration.

Demonstrate maturity, integrity and character in relationships with all infoUSA colleagues, customers and prospective customers.

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:

Knowledge of sales and marketing practices and procedures.

Strong written and verbal communication skills required.

Ability to build productive business relationships with clients and meet goals.

Knowledge of direct marketing practices and products.

Basic understanding of Marketing preferred.

Closing ability required; previous sales experience preferred

Must be able to type at least 35 words per minute and effectively operate a 10 – key calculator – (add, subtract, multiply, divide, etc.)

Must be able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
